Akash Barta Touches 20

A panel discussion on ‘Freedom of Press’ was organized recently at Krishnapada Memorial Trust Bhavan to celebrate the 20th year of the newspaper ‘Akash Barta’. The program was inaugurated by Rev. Swami Atmabodhananda Maharaj which had Arun Kr. Chakraborty, Ashis Chakraborty, Pt. Swapan Sen, Mamata Banerjee, Nilavo Roy, Krishna Prasad Patra and other distinguished personalities as it’s special guests. The audiences were entertained by cultural presentations of ‘Abyay’ and ‘Indian Photo and Cultural Lovers’. Editor Akash Ch. Das delivered a vote of thanks at the end.
