Audio-Visual Album of Poetry Recitation

Ami O Amar Ebela, an audio-visual album on Bengali recitation by Pabhel Gupta was recently launched at the Officers Club. A repertoire of poems by Rabindranath Tagore, Joy Goswami, Achinta Kumar Sengupta, Purnendu Patri, Sukanta Bhattacharjee was figured in his recitations along with the support of the desired visuals. Gupta who resides in the Middle East read out the poems with the required dramatic edge punctuated with inner emotion that gave both the visual and the verbal the requisite inner meanings conveyed to his listeners.
