Dishonor Of Swami Vivekananda Exposed Intolerant LEFT In JU: ABVP

Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) celebrated Swami Vivekananda Jayanti on January 12, 2020, in front of Central Library, Jadavpur University.

On January 13, flower petals commemorated on Swamiji’s Photo were found distorted; ABVP flag and placard were found torn and thrown on the ground. ABVP alleges that the incident was carried by LEFT and TMCP. ABVP JU Unit President Utsav Chakraborty has submitted a letter to Jadavpur University VC to probe the matter and take necessary actions against those involved.

Utsav informed, “With the rising acceptance of ABVP in Jadavpur University, TMCP and LEFT Student Wings have united and, their intolerance towards other sets of philosophy stands exposed. TMCP-LEFT’s shed crocodile tears for democratic values and freedom of speech.” Utsav added, “Such incidents in the JU campus are poisoning the social fabric. Unable to convince their rumors against ABVP, they are practicing hooliganism within the campus.”

This is not dishonoring to Swami Vivekananda, this is a dishonor to Bengali and Bharatiya culture and heritage.
