E-Drishtikone Launch by Treasures of Innocence

Today, computer knowledge is a must for everyone, without any exemption. Poor children from our beloved city of Kolkata are lacking funding and access to such learning due to their financial status. E-Drishtikone will provide computer basics to underprivileged school children, who are unable to study by paying heavy fees in institutions. Treasures of Innocence will provide computer basics courses with our trained volunteers and course materials, which is a must for higher education and for a decent job today.

The official launch of e-Drishtikone by Treasures of Innocence was a roaring success. The beloved students burst into the world of Digital Literacy with their heads held high and their confidence soaring.

The day started by welcoming the beloved students and the fantastic guests. After the ceremonial lighting of the lamp to start the journey, they jumped right into the wonderful world of computers. Oh! One should have seen the utter astonishment in the faces of the children when they saw how the book that they have written and illustrated came to life in front of their eyes. They couldn’t believe it. The story of the magic box left them speechless and awestruck.

The wonderful organization “Amar Durga” presented the children with awesome goodies and delicious cakes. And, then came the testing portion of the evening. The mentors were astounded by how much the children already knew or could guess. They conducted a theory exam as well as a practical exam to determine the knowledge level of the children. The mentors were so proud. We concluded the first class of e-Drishtikone with The National Anthem and the big smiles. To infinity… and beyond…
