Emergency Amphan Drive At Sandeshkhali
The super cyclone Amphan has hit some parts of West Bengal and Orissa on May 21, 2020 – the two paraganas in West Bengal are the most affected districts. Amphan has caused immense damage to lives and property.
On June 7, 2020 Baranagar Udyog took “Emergency Amphan Drive” at Patani Para (Puratan Nazat) in Sandeshkhali Block-1 to aid relief to the homeless. The aid includes muri, chire, batasha, chhatu, medicines, ORS, biscuit, sanitary napkins, soaps and torches to 200 families, including 600 families.
Sh. Supratim Acharjee (Block Development Officer, Sandeshkhali Block-1), Dr. Prabir Kumar Mondal (Block Livestock Development Officer, Sandeshkhali Block-1), Shrimati Chandana Mahato (Sabhapati, Panchayat Samiti, Sandeshkhali Block-1) Sh. Sukumar Mahato (MLA) were also present.
