Lion in Sherwani and Indo-western Gown

Aadvik, a renowned designer boutique in Kolkata, introduces the lion as a motif mixed with other folk arts in Indian weddings. The sherwani and Indo-western gown were conceptualized by Debasish Kundu, Sanada Biswas, Prosun Roy & Payel Samajdar.

“This wedding set was entirely handmade and is crafted with pure velvet, sequence fabric, pure khadi, and soft net, and embroidered with dabka, salma, sitara, sequences, beads, dori threads, stones and pearls,” informed designer Prosun Roy. He added, “It took 700 man-hours to complete the entire masterpiece.”
