Vote Geeti – Vote Is an Inseparable Part of the Civic Society

Hello Kolkata is soon releasing ‘Vote Geeti’ – an audio-video album of 3 songs to commemorate upcoming Lok Sabha Election 2019. The AV album has lyrics by Ratan Guha, music by Biswajit Das and songs by Swasti Chatterjee, Dr. Asok Ray, Sukanya Roy and Biswajit Das.

The concept and direction are by Asish Basak, who has already made several albums, short films and has also directed and produced 2 feature films – ‘M-Factor’ and ‘Sesh Theke Abar Shuru’. Mr Basak informed, “The audio recording of ”Vote Geeti’ took place on April 18, 2019 at Studio Resonance. The visual will cover various parts of Kolkata, with people of all ages, having special scenes with 1st-time Voters.” “The lyrics and supporting scenes will reflect that vote is a significant event which, is an inseparable and undeniable part and parcel of our civic society and, that it affects all corners of society,” Mr Basak added.

‘Vote Geeti’ is a non-commercial socio-cultural initiative of Hello Kolkata, executed by The Phoenix, and affiliated with an NGO – Vibrations of Joy – Chalar Ananda. The associate partners of the AV album include IBMS, Daffodil Incorporate, Mukhyabarta, Innomania Motion Pictures, and Adya Ma Seva Samity.
